Would iPhone on Verizon kill Android?

Its going to happen, we know this but would this be the nail in the coffin for Android?

I know alot of people that want an iPhone cuz its an iPhone......

is android in the coffin right now waiting for the final nail?   i thought they were selling and doing well.       and i don't think it will be bad for them.   i think android phones are on a roll right now.     looking strong.        i think there's enough room for them both.

I don't think it will kill Android but I do think it may cause some people to switch to the iPhone who are unwilling or unable to use AT&T for one.

Here in the UK, the iPhone is offered on all 5 major networks and despite this, Android is still on the rise. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/07/27/uk_android_sales/

The sudden rush of new VZ iPhone customers will be big tho.

ya.. iphone name alone, no matter what will sell it.       it's like a Wii.      i don't know what it does, but it's called a Wii, and everyone has one, and they like it!   i want one too!

i had the motorola droid generation one. then i switched to iphone and im glad i did. i personally just dont like the style and layout of the android system. it is too blocky and plain in my opinion.
