I'm a Rangers fan but I want the Devils to win. Not gonna hate. They're the local team and anytime I go to Newark I usually drive by the Prudential Center. I'm a big Brodeur fan so I'd love to see him retire with 1 last ring.

wow!  Kings kicked the Devils ass tonight, and are 1 game away from winning it all.    they said the Kings are the first team in the history of the NHL to be up 3-0 in every series of the playoffs in Hockey.

Seems the Devils went to sleep. Got slaughtered yesterday 4-0. All my Devils fan friends went apeshit last night. We have this groupme chat thing for smartphones and they changed the title from 'stanley cup finals' to 'euro2012' already gave up and all lol

Not just that, but also 1st 8th seed team to win the cup. Since they got a new coach and entered the playoffs they have been wrecking shit up like mad. Knocked out #1 seed, #2 seed, #3 seed and now are in the finals still with undefeated away record in playoffs... just wreckin shit.

A sweep might be in the works.

ya,this is very wild for the Kings right now.   i'll tell you this... any time you get a red hot goalie like Quick is right now... i mean he is awesome right now... but when your goalie is hot in the playoffs... good things happen to your team.

yup. quick is fucken NASTY good right now

You need to aim high cuz he's butterfly style at times but always on the ground type of goalie. you can't shoot up high when close cuz he cuts your angle like he did last night by lifting his glove up. You need deflections, one timers, lots of luck, but always aim high high high... and the devils just aint doin it. The only 2 goals quick let in was a deflection and a redirect off a defenseman's back, so none were his fault. Shame cuz I really like Brodeur but Marty might just retire with his worst run in the playoffs. A sweep is coming!!

The Devils prevented a sweep last night with a 3-1 win. I still think the Kings will take it since the series is 3-1 in favor of the Kings.

Nope. Kings still gonna win it. But it's obvious the NHL refs are helping out the Kings though. Soon as the Devils scored the 1st goal, a small hit after the faceoff resulted in a massively questionable penalty where the Kings tied it up a minute later from.

Quick is still on fire and the Devils continue to miss major chances, like even another open netter!!
