Been through a lot of gadgets during my abcence.
Out:
XBOX360 and PS3 are gone. The PSN hack pissed me off enough to give Sony the boot & I wasn't using my XBOX enough to justify keeping it. We only have the Wii left and that's only because my daughter plays on it
My iOS gadgets are gone  & my Mac has been sold (but I will be back on OS X eventually). The only Apple hardware that remains is my wife's iPhone 4 and my daughter with an iPod shuffle.

I also had a short stint with a Samsung Omnia 7 Windows Phone. Fantastic device and WP7 is a great platform from my experience with it. The only downside to it was the lack of applications available for WP7. I was used to some real good choices with Android and iOS but WP7 was too new for me to stick to it so I sold the Omnia 7. Will rejoin the WP7 ranks eventually, possibly with a Nokia Lumia in future.

In: Got a Galaxy Nexus for Christmas. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S II and still have my trusty ZTE Blade as a backup. Also using a Xoom at the moment for my tablet.

The biggest change was building a new PC for gaming. I've moved all of my gaming to the PC for one huge reason. My PC iis avaiable to me whenever I want it without the children seeing me shoot the head off of another Super Mutant in Fallout 3/New Vegas.

Building a new PC was the reason I got rid of the Mac as it far outspeccs the iMac we had so there was no reason to keep such a slow machine. We're likely to get a new Mac this year as a second machine in the home.

I've also fallen in love with Google Music for all my musical needs. I have unlimited data on my smartphone plan and never having to sync music to a device again is pure bliss. I just rip/buy what I want and let the Google Music app upload it in the background. All my music, accessable anywhere on multiple devices.

Anyone else had any changes/upgrades while I've been gone?

I finally got a new smart phone (it was almost year ago I broke my Moto Droid and never replaced it).  I got a HTC Trophy (Wp7) while it does lack the app numbers of Android, I do enjoy the xbox live support (achievements in my cell phones = win) and I love the OS. I also always been a fan of Zune so I already had a nice amount of music on my laptop from Zune so that was a plus since wp7 has Zune built in.

That's my only tech change :p

That is good to hear Master X. With XBOX Live, it makes perfect sense to go WP7.  :beach:

I did love the Zune experience on my Omnia 7? Effortless syncing and Zune Pass was great. WP7 is as smooth as silk (smoother than iOS in my opinion).

I really hope that user figures start to grow for WP7 soon.

The iPad2 is a powerful tablet mondayshift. Looking forward to the iPad3 which will hopefully have a high Res retina display. :D
