Interesting: Howard has repeadidly said in the past that when his contract expires, he would retire. To my knowledge, he has never waivered from that. Also, I think it would be absurd for Sirius/XM to pay ANOTHER half a BILLION dollars to stay. Howard made 100 million a year from Sirius, if anything, he owes THEM money! I don't see him staying longer than he is contracturally obligated to. However, if he does stay, no doubt he will have to take a *Sirius* pay cut ;)

The whole Sirius/XM whatever radio never made much sense to me. Especially in this day and age with programs like last.fm and yahoo radio, etc, etc. Now myself never being much of a Howard Stern or Talk Radio fan in general in my highly unprofessional opinion Sirius wouldn't be or have shit if it wasn't for Stern. Honestly who the hell wants to pay for radio? I don't even listen to the radio anymore. That's why god invented mp3 players.

Yeah, its a dying bird. I just renewed a few months ago, but I doubt I will keep it up. I rarely listen, especially since my car adaptor took a dive. And when I am at home, I rarely have time to listen after TV, internet/ itunes, ect. If I ever get a new car, I would have it installed into the car. But for home use, its just not cutting it. It is nice to have on the open road, or when you are camping.
