Downloaded it last night.    Haven't gotten to play yet tho because I'm at work and don't want to get called away.  Funny thing is, the only reason I downloaded it was so I wouldn't have to wait until after work to play it.

I may get another DS for this. I played with the 2DS and I like the feel. I never used the 3D anyway.

I read somewhere that the sound is only mono, which is the real deal breaker there. Unless this can be remedied by earphones. Would anyone happen to know?

You'll get Stereo sound with earphones. So it's actually kinda funny to me how "Not 3D" this game is. I think it's mostly for performance reasons. Single 1-on-1 battles are in 3D, but 2-on-2 battles are not. Also anything that happens in the overworld are not 3D. So really if you are playing this game on a 2DS. You aren't missing much at all.  Also all the online features of this game-  So cool!
