Mike Trout  :flash:  How many times do rookies make All Star games?  This guy should go.

So what are they calling this kid? "Little Fish"?

Incredible... thats all I've heard.  No nicknames (as far as I know).  This guy is too good. You'll see starting tomorrow night!  Angels Vs. Dodgers!!!!!!

And you really couldn't even call him "little fish", but I know you're just joking with that anyways.   :pickit:  How is it they had a Salmon and now a Trout? Crazy!

I love listening to Vin Scully call games.  Hopefully he makes the trip to Anaheim for their next series. He's still only doing home games right?

You guys getting a look at Trout now?   :lurker:  :woot!:

Rubber game between the Angels and Dodgers tomorrow night... Rivera won it with his 3 run shot in the 8th.  I wasn't able to watch much of any of the game as I was at work, but from what I saw the Angels got out of the 8th when Conger threw that dude out trying to steal second.  Maybe I saw it wrong and he was actually safe, oh well.  These things happen.  Win it tomorrow and take the series.

Edit - Shitballs, just saw the highlight on Sportscenter.  Gordon was gunned down at second but called safe.  Williams hung a piece of junk for Rivera and thats that.  Booooo!   :lurker:

Matt Cain pitches the first PERFECT game in SF Giants history.  I saw it on facebook and put on the audio and I'm still listening to them talk.  That is pretty awesome.

Always good to see something like this without any "questionable" calls.  There was one shot down the first base line that was properly called foul, but very very close.

And there could have been a No-Hitter for the Mets as well, but 3b Wright tried to barehand a ball down the line in the first which he should have gloved... I bet he's pretty pissed about that.  How it was a hit and not an error will be looked into, and maybe even changed?  A little home cooking gave the home team a hit instead of an error, but there was no way to tell that early that it would be the only "hit" of the game.

Halos 4-2 on the season against the "Big Blue", also knocking them from the best record in baseball pedestal!  :woot!:  (To bad Texas took that over)

Now we just need to see what would happen in a 7 game series.   :read:

Big 2 game series against the O's now. We're a half game behind them for the wild card and we have CJ and Weaver going against them. I'd like to see us take control of the wild card this week.

Trout 4 MVP!!!

Yeah, up to this point if Trout isn't at least the Rookie of the year there is something seriously wrong.  Angels are 39 - 14 ( I believe thats what I read) since Trout was brought up... Best in baseball during that span...

Well, at least we had the best record in the game at one point.  :)
