i would like to see the O's or Nats also but wouldnt be mad at all if the A's won gotta respect a team with no payroll.

Mischa can't be happy right now.  Yankees lose game 1 against Detroit and Jeter fractures his ankle in the 12th inning of the loss.  Obviously out for the rest of the post season.

Oh I got no beef with Jeter.  I hope he heals well.  I just love seeing the Yankees lose.  And losing Jeter, their leader, their sparkplug, hurts big time.  Losing A-Rod wouldn't have done much.  As Szabada mentioned, he's been on the pine.  Well, for one game anyway.  But they had to pinch hit for him in 2 other games.

Yeah I know A.Rod has been riding the pine, and losing Jeter hurts way more (hence the "or something) but A.Rod is a fucking douche and Jeter is the only respectable thing about the entire franchise. I'm glad the Yanks are essentially fucked now, but I feel sorry for the guy.

wow!  3 homeruns in one game for that dude.    some of those swings looked so soft!   JUICER!   CORKED BAT!   :party:    ha... sucks baseball will forever be tainted in my mind like that... but good job to that guy.
