Have one pre-ordered at Gamestop (3G), the plan is to get it but what if Sony cuts the price in a couple of months? Sony might not be a "generous" with pleasing customers as Nintendo then I'll feel fucked.

Here's the thing I'm trading in the PSP Go, Gamestop trade-in value is $50 vs Best Buy 70, Best Buy will have 7 in stock but they could not say if they were pre-ordered or not so buying one there is not guaranteed.

Should I trade in my PSP (red) as well?

The Vita will fail.  Just like it's predecessors.  Save your money.

I have many doubts about the long-term success of the device myself.. but it is a pretty awesome piece of hardware nonetheless.
