League Manager
« on: September 16, 2011, 12:54:18 PM »
I have synced our league up with the free League Manager website. It will enable everybody to create a free account on the website, which is easier and much better than the EA website. It will allow us to sign free agents, make trades, view rosters, AND it will track in-depth statistics for every team including weekly awards, yearly awards (MVP and such), and create a pro bowl roster. Sign up now at the link below!!

http://myleaguemanager.net/apps/acceptInvite.cfm?lid=LG1566_&uid=4196&lname=Showtime For Free

When it asks for the league password, it is the same as the franchise on the Xbox: showtime

Also, I am considering putting in the NFL salary cap for the first season ($120 million) which would help keep trades and free agency more realistic. Not a for sure yet, and I can change the salary cap to whatever I want when I want, should I decide to do it.

Don't get what you're saying.  When you click on the link, go to the upright corner where you would insert a username and stuff and register.  It's quick, and easy.  Just use your gamertag as your username.

I entered the pass for the league and it just took me to a page that showed my team (the broncos)... never saw a sign up screen

Austin, I could not find where to post on the league manager site about setting up games for the week.

Mike, we play in week 2, would Thursday night work for you.

It doesn't let you do the game scheduling until the schedule is actually in that week. Since we're still in Week 1, you can't look ahead to Week 2 and try to schedule with your opponent using the League Manager.

I would like to, but I highly doubt that I could get it to work for this league. The salary cap only applies to transactions made on that league manager website, so therefore I would need everybody to only use that to pick up/drop FA and make trades and draft picks, etc. However, not everybody that is in the league is using the League Manager, and there is no way I can force everybody to sign up and then actually use it for things like that in a league this size.

I think it would work far better in BBI where the size of the league is relatively smaller and everybody communicates and stays on the same page, but the fantasy draft makes any salary cap seem impossible.
