Season 2 has sadly ended, with another great season finale. Now I face a summer with no more shows to watch until Walking Dead comes back...

I'm considering buying book 3 of Game of Thrones so I can keep my fix on, but can't decide if I'd rather wait and not spoil what's going to happen on Seasons 3 and 4 of the show.

I'm almost 300 pages into the third book (Storm of Swords). I had a co-worker who had read the first 2 books fill me in on who some of the characters were that had been introduced in the first 2 books, but not the first 2 seasons on the show. Book 3 so far has been amazing. There is so much cool shit coming for this show the next 2 seasons (since seasons 3 and 4 are just going to be Book 3), that I can't wait to see how they do it all.

Ok, I'm pretty stoked right now.  I got into Game of Thrones, but we were renting the DVD's.  And I only got through the first 4 episodes of season 1.  And then our schedules made it tough to rent movies.  So I haven't watched it in forever.  However I somehow have all of the movie channels (I think its because Verizon gave them to me after having issues with my set top boxes, but I should check my bill) and HBO is running a Game of Thrones marathon Back to back, seasons 1 and 2!  I'm about to be all caught up!!!!!!   :woot!:

I'm reading book 4 now. Book 3 (seasons 3 and 4 of the actual show) is going to rock your nuts off.
