i thought it was a nice pic so i put it in the hobby/photography thread too.

My dad had one of these which when I was 1st getting into photography, I was using this. It got expensive though as I didn't develop my own prints.

walgreens can put the pictures from film to a Cd for about $7 bucks without prints. it's not too bad for just the occasional use.

the guy that sold me the Camera gave me 2 rolls of film. the first one got broken then the second one was a B/W from 2008, was going to get it developed at the Walgreens this morning, but the guy told me he can't do it because its a Professional roll? and he said their machine can't do them. so now i don't even know if there is a place in town that can.  :wtf: i just want my film developed and see if the camera work OK and see what if any of my pictures came out OK too.

ooooo so youve got tmax/trimax.  you can get the chemicles on ebay for lie 5 bucks a packet.... one packet makes like a gal, of the stuff, only thing is youll need a  black photo bag, processing tank, and film developing reels... i wish i would have stole that shit from the school in high school, if you got all the stuff i could walk you through how to do it.

heres what the tank looks like... http://cgi.ebay.com/FILM-PROCESSING-TANK-AND-REEL-/260796789477?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb8b332e5

heres a link to the black bag http://cgi.ebay.com/Film-Changing-Dark-Room-Bag-16-x-15-Used-/330572093011?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf7a1d653

and then the chems are usually d-76 or something like that.

Today yeah, back then.. def not. Especially when I was suckered into using a special film from Cali, which cost ridonkulous to develop (and only through them mind you!! something about special paper and fluids which I think was all BS anyways)

is it a black and white film?

because if it is you might have even more problems then just getting the film developed, the prints use different chemicles too.

depends if the were color chems or black and white chems,  black and white chems have always cost more to do for some reason, i guess its because of the whole needing light thing with the prints, hell if i know

i found a place than can do the positive? i think thats what the ladt said for $7 bucks, then pic out which one i want to scan? i don't know what the lady was talking about i got lost when she started telling about all my options and how much each was gonna cost.  ;?  Ef me in the hell. this has become a circus just to see if 24 B/W exposures turned out ok.
