i have no interest of playing games on my phone.       little games like angry birds is one thing for me,... i'll just get a hand held if i want to play "real" video games on a small ass screen.

For me, playing emulators on my droid is the shit! but I hate the touch buttons. Emulators alone have me sold on this phone since it has an actual button layout like a game controller.

This I view as Sony being desperate for their Sony Ericson phones (which aren't doing well). Throw in a Dpad and some game buttons and voila.. the SDF will 'save' Sony's mobile line. In EU and Asia, Sony Ericson phones are actually not that bad but they have continuously been losing market share over the years thanks to iphone and droid phones. I see this as Sony's hail mary pass, kinda like MS's windows 7 phones.

This thing will bomb harder than PSP Go, but there’s probably not much financial risk for Sony.. just a set of technical specs and some old emulated PS1 games.
