Well, when you get your phone give some feedback on what you like/dislike about it.  I'm in the market for a new Sprint phone as I've been with them long enough to get all of the rebates.  I've been looking at the EVO pretty hard, but just can't scrape up the money to pick it up right now.  Probably soon, but by then something new will probably be out.   ;D

I wound up getting the Evo.. had it about a month now. I am overall very happy with my decision.

The only real bad thing I've found is that the battery life on the Evo is pretty bad.. however with a quick Google search for tips on extending it has it lasting the whole day.. but this is definitely a phone that needs to be charged daily.

I love the Android OD compared to the iphone.. it is so much more configurable and the app stores is getting better every day.

If anyone still has questions feel free to ask and I'll do my best to give my opinion. I definitely recommend it to anyone considering buying it

Well, I'm happy you like it because I went out and bought my EVO last night.  So far I love it.  I always charge my phone daily and overnight anyways (unless I can't make it home), I'll probably end up getting a car charger for it as well.  Anyone have the screen protectors?  Do they work?  anyways, I'll let you know what I think of it but right now.  I'm all McDonalds about it.

nice. welcome to the cool kids club :-)

I haven't gotten a screen protector yet. I have a stiff silicone case.

do you have 4G in your area? I don't get it at my house but I get it downtown.

naw, 4G isn't even close to my area right now.  But I don't really expect it to be, i mean sheesh, its only super populated Orange County, WTF!  But I think its coming pretty soon.

I have a screen protector on my droid.  It's definitely worth the few bucks.
