Blockbusters closing stores.
« on: June 28, 2010, 08:21:56 PM »
Well I was around a Blockbuster that's going out of business and they have Blu's @ 15% off & Games are 30% off for previously viewed. I picked up a bunch. Including Street Racer for under $7.00!!
Mischa.

Netflix, Redbox, Gamefly, and Blockbusters own online service have all sunk them.

I check my local Blockbuster twice a week in hopes of one of these closing down sales.  No luck. :(

It's in a regular dvd case with a blu ray cover so it's not the small blu ray cases but no big deal ya know.

If you're talking about Mag and Atlanta that'll be the last to go man, too many seniors in the area. Have you been in there recently though? It looks like a ghost town, I swear the whole building is condemned!

I am super stoked about this. Fuck Blockbuster! Fuck any video store that runs my credit card to determine whether or not I am qualified to pay an exuberant amount (last I checked $9.99) to rent a fucking video game.
This my BOOMSTICK!

There is another one going out of business down the street from me.  I could walk there.  I picked up Red today for $8.00.  Once I get some more cash I'm going to get Super Street Fighter IV & Castlevania.  Both are $15.00 which is still a really good price.  I'm going to go back and get some more blu's that are older they are $4.99!!

On a side note did anyone see I am number 4?

i heard it was eh, production and editing was choppy, and you could see those big foamy mics over their heads on some scenes. my hubby was very dissapointed with it.

Cool thanks.  I ended up picking up 3 more movies today on Blu Ray.  Machette, Miracle at St. Anna & Tron Legacy all for $15.00!!
