I paid $15 for BF 1943 and it only had 3 maps. The thing is, is Breach worth $15, like omni said, are you going to get your money's worth? I played a decent amount of BF1943 but if I had to do it again, I'd get the 360/LIVE version rather than the PS3/PSN version
I agree with and understand your concerns, I'm not going to jump blindly into this game. As of right now though, from what we've been shown as to the theoretical amount of content available from videos and all kinds of other sources. Signs point to yes. 3 maps is a bit of a downer, but that also depends entirely on their quality and replayability... But add in the classes, level up system, environment damage, etc. and it's easily worth $15. Certainly more so than Battfield 1943 was, and I personally think that it was worth it to. Sure it got stale after a while, but I certainly got plenty of hours out of it. Certainly far more than most titles that cost $60's with their weak 6-8 hr campaigns and completely lack of replayability.
Besides with the addition of the night map and possibly an unlockable map that could technically put us at 5 maps (though I have a hard time believing that a map being night or day is going to do much besides create a preference towards one or the other.)
The value seems to be there. Whether it is worth it to an individual can't be determined.
Honestly I'm a little disappointed that breach only has three maps, but from the way things are looking, I'm disappointed it wasn't a full fledged triple A title to begin with. It looks as though it's prepared to put some of those triple A titles to shame.
