We are a fun little 2 man band right now doing some covers, and a few originals, with a drummer mixed in every once in a while. ;) So anyways, as of now you can go listen to our songs over on,...

Timberlakes, "What goes around comes around." this video is me freestyling a guitar solo for the song. this wasn't THE solo... but it was the solo, right before we recorded the final and put it down. it was the solo's child!

the first video is from our cover of Tom Petty's, "You don't know how it feels..." This is the whole song, 1 take on this one, and we actually happened to do it on video! So here is the video of us putting the first part of the song together.

this second video is the solo on the song. this solo was also used in the final song. this is the ending of it. i told stavros that i was going to rock this one.. i guess he felt i was and grabbed the camera before the song was over.

I (josh b) was introduced to the show on HBO, True Blood by my roommate not to long ago, and loved the intro song. This is that song. I AM NOT A SINGER... i can hold a tune.. but i don't strive to be the lead signer. i play guitar and piano... and throw my voice on there, just so well.... so that not all of our songs are instrumental only. like i've said from day one... Stavros and myself, we just love playing for fun.. for our friends and family. we have no ambitions of making it big... we don't think we're great musicians, we are not full of ourselves at all. most of you know that... i just wanted to type that for the guest that view this thread.

and thanks... i think we're improving too. :) it's cool to make something out of nothing. now i know what you artist feel like when you start off on a clean piece of paper or whatever you use to draw on.

My guitar playing consists of repeating the same 6 or 7 chords, so I can appreciate the skill beyond that!

That's you playing "rhythm" and "lead" right? What are you using to record the multiple tracks?
ya i'm playing both... so what we did there was we laid down the bass and rhythm guitar, and then i put the solo on top of that.. don't know if i added the piano/organ after or before, but i'll take a listen .. probably added after...

and i'm using N-Track studio.. it's really good.. if you had it.. we could send files back and forth.. you could play some guitar, send it to me, then i could add solos or something on top.. send it back to you and so on. pretty cool.

The only problem was that I was a terrible singer and I was pretty bad at all of the instruments!

Now you'll see that two post up, i did a acoustic cover first try of Doves.. but we went all out. I think it's the best song we've done.. but that's just me. The solo is rocking.. ROCKING HARD!

Here it is... for the first time in over a Year! TCMB, The Cann Man Band is proud to present a cover of a classic song from yesteryear. This is "Sunny Afternoon", the instrumental version. There is a version with singing, but after listening to it, I came to two conclusions. A.... The singing sucks, I can't sing. Sometime I can hold a tune, but ugh... And B.... Even if the singing sounded good... it distracts from this AWESOME instrumental version of this song.

Stavros went off on I'd like to say his BEST ever performance on Bass, and the guitar soloing almost sings the words for you, instead of an actual voice on there. Anyway, there are 3 trippy looking pictures I put up for this feel good, kick back and relax type of Summer jam. If you stare, they move! And I'll tell you what, this version sounds like a great song from the 20's, or 30's... just roaring along. When you hear it, you'll know what I mean. So anyhoo... Enjoy!
